Crowns and bridges
Making Dentistry Affordable Again.
Crown and bridges are like a protective cap or covering for a tooth. This means they should last many years and you don’t want to go back to the dentist every few years to replace your fillings, crowns and bridges.
What are crowns and bridges
Crowns are designed to provide a one piece coverage for a variety of reasons:
- Root canal procedures
- Heavily broken down teeth
- Better aesthetics and better looking teeth
- Better longevity
- Less chance of reoccurring decay
- Less chance of tooth fracture
- Serve as a abutment for a denture
Bridges are basically longer span crowns that replace a missing space between teeth.
They are however often not so suited for multiple missing teeth. In those case implants could be a better option. See section under “Implants”.
